MSN has released a featurette showing some behind-the-scenes footage and interviews from Twilight: New Moon, focusing particularly on the creation of the wolf pack.  Taylor Lautner stars as Jacob Black and a member of the werewolf pack, and you can check out what he thinks of his animal gang, as well as getting clued up on the advanced CGI techniques used to bring the creatures to life.

Before “The Twilight Saga’s New Moon” opens wide in the U.S. on November 20, a 15-city cast tour will take place from November 6 through 19.

Not only do you get to watch both Jacob (Taylor Lautner) and Edward (Robert Pattinson) do their best to protect Bella (Kristen Stewart) from all sorts of nasties, but Jane (Dakota Fanning) speaks and hints at how dangerous she really is.

The Twilight Saga: New Moon opens nationwide on Nov. 20.

Those photos aside, People magazine is putting out its Special New Moon Collector’s Edition. The special edition, which will hit shelves across the U.S. this Friday, October 16, also includes interview with director Chris Weitz and the cast members.

Of the first sequel to “Twilight”, Weitz said, “Twilight is about first love; New Moon is about heartbreak. That requires the actors to go to some very dark places.” He continued to share, “Kristen may be the most serious actor I’ve ever encountered. She took the job of portraying Bella’s depression very seriously.”

The Twilight Saga: New Moon is due to arrive in theaters across United States on November 20.

The tagline for the posters says “The next chapter begins”.

The first is this, a poster of Bella and Edward (Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson), with Emmett (Kellan Lutz), Rosalie (Nikki Reed), Carlisle (Peter Facinelli), Esme (Elizabeth Reaser), Jasper (Jackson Rathbone) and Alice (Ashley Greene) in the background.

The third is of Jacob (Taylor Lautner), literally flanked by his wolfpack members Sam (Chaske Spencer), Embry (Kiowa Gordon), Paul (Alex Meraz) and Jared (Bronson Pelletier).

The newly-released photo captures the major characters, Kristen Stewart’s Bella and Robert Pattinson’s Edward staring intensely at each other. Before making its rounds online, it was released in the pages of People Magazine’s most recent issue.

Two promotional images from “The Twilight Saga’s New Moon” have been found. Each of the cards, scanned by EdwardandBella.net, presents the series central characters. One gives out Robert Pattinson in his Edward Cullen role, the other features Kristen Stewart as her Bella Swan character. They don’t reveal anything new but may signal the beginning of an onslaught of new media, especially with the next trailer due in less than two weeks attached to Summit Entertainment’s Bandslam.

No Nude Scene in ‘The Twilight Saga’s New Moon’

The Twilight Saga: New Moon director Chris Weitz denies the appearance of nude scenes. In direct response to jokes told by Jamie Campbell-Bower regarding his shedding of clothing, Weitz deemed it necessary to stem the tide of complaining  parents regarding the much ballyhooed adult content.

Weitz dismisses the chatter as being a part of Cambell-Bower’s dry sense of humor.  “I would like to put everyone’s mind at rest and let them know that the Volturi are not naked,” said the director. “Jamie (Campbell-Bower) has what you might call a dry sense of humor and almost managed to convince me — which is why he’s such a good actor. Anyway, be assured that, even though we do want the look of the Volturi to be a bit of a surprise, they are always — as in the book! — fully clothed.”

A representative for Summit sounded off similar remark. “For those that have had the opportunity to meet and/or talk to Jamie, you know that he is absolutely hilarious,” the rep said. “He often jokes around, even in interviews, and has a great sense of humor. For those that haven’t spoken to him, you may be confused as to whether or not he was joking when he made these comments. Rest assured, as Chris Weitz’s note to you explains, Jamie was just joking.”

While Weitz and Summit took it to MTV to clear up the controversy, Bower let out his apology for the joke through his Twitter account. “Apologies for misleading people into thinking that there would be a nude scene in ‘New Moon,’” he wrote on a post dated August 1. “Never meant it to offend anyone. Sorry.”

“The Twilight Saga 4: Breaking Dawn” Potentially Developed as Trilogy

“The Twilight Saga’s Breaking Dawn” will be the adaptation of the fourth book written by Stephenie Meyer in her “Twilight” series. Like the two other “Twilight” saga movies, “New Moon” and “Eclipse”, this book follows the romantic story between mortal girl Bella Swan and vampire Edward Cullen.

After Summit Entertainment set record straight on the faux “The Twilight Saga’s New Moon” nude scene report, the vampire drama series has been hit with another rumor which suggests that “The Twilight Saga’s Breaking Dawn” may be made into a trilogy.

Noting that the studio is yet to officially confirm the possibility, the site backed up its story with author Stephenie Meyer’s statement on StephenieMeyer.com. “If Breaking Dawn were ever made into a movie, it’s hard to imagine it fitting into ninety minutes,” so she wrote. “The book is just so long! I can’t imagine how to distill it – if I could, the book would be shorter. But maybe a screenwriter can see a way to do it and still cover the crucial plot points.”

Acting 411 sparked the speculation, writing “Sources say that Breaking Dawn will be filmed and released in a new trilogy – ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part I’, ‘Part II’ and ‘Part III’.”

Talking to E! Online, Ashley Greene, the Alice Cullen’s depicter stated that “Breaking Dawn” will happen right after the third film, “The Twilight Saga’s Eclipse”. “We’re going to start right after Eclipse,” so she revealed.

The second installment in the film series, New Moon, is currently set for release on November 20, 2009. The third film will be released on Wednesday, June 30, 2010.

Reel Movie News has claimed it to be the first and official photo how the members of evil vampire clan Volturi will look like in the highly anticipated “The Twilight Saga’s New Moon”.

Michael Sheen’s Aro, Christopher Heyerdahl’s Marcus, Jamie Campbell Bower’s Caius, Dakota Fanning’s Jane and Cameron Bright’s Alec are all lined in the picture. Still, missing from the photo is Canadian model Noot Seear who has been tapped to portray gorgeous-looking Heidi.

An adaptation of Stephenie Meyer’s second novel in her “Twilight” series, this “Twilight” sequel has wrapped up its principal photography and fallen into its post-production.

To remind: After Bella recovers from the vampire attack that almost claimed her life, she looks to celebrate her birthday with Edward and his family. However, a minor accident during the festivities results in Bella’s blood being shed, a sight that proves too intense for the Cullens, who decide to leave the town of Forks, Washington for Bella and Edward’s sake. Initially heartbroken, Bella finds a form of comfort in reckless living, as well as an even-closer friendship with Jacob Black. Danger in different forms awaits.

Director David Slade has apparently jumped fully on the production of “The Twilight Saga’s Eclipse” and start to scouting for shooting locations in addition to how far the work has begun.

On his latest posts in Twitter, the man behind “30 Days of Night” spilled that the scouting for shooting locations has started. “A long day of scouting, found Newborn hideout and battlefield finally,” he first tweeted. He then continued the updates by posting photos from the locations he was scouting, giving out both the places he will be using for the filming and those he will not.

An adaptation of the third novel from Stephenie Meyer’s “Twilight” series, “The Twilight Saga’s Eclipse” is penned by Melissa Rosenberg like the two movies before it, “Twilight” and “The Twilight Saga’s New Moon”. Summit Entertainment has scheduled to release it in U.S. theaters June 30, 2010. Earlier, it has been reported that Australian actor Xavier Samuel has been added to the cast ensemble as Riley.

Aside from revealing that he is seeking for the shooting locations, the 39-year-old also gave out that he has begun on the storyboarding. “Storyboard meetings, storyboard drawings, storyboard thumbnails storyboard references, previz, previz, script, script, sleep sleep coffee,” he recently wrote on her Twitter page.

“The Twilight Saga’s New Moon” is due to arrive in theaters across United States on November 20. Beside having Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, Robert Pattinson and Edi Gathegi on its cast ensemble, the film will also be supported by Ashley Greene, Jackson Rathbone, Nikki Reed, Kellan Lutz, Dakota Fanning and Michael Sheen among others. Exclusive footage of this “Twilight” sequel will be presented by Summit Entertainment at San Diego Comic Con 2009.

Though the second movie has yet to be released, Summit is already knee-deep in casting the third Twilight movie, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. Risky Biz says the first new actor being added to the franchise for the film is an Australian named Xavier Samuel.

Samuel, who so far has managed to avoid Neighbours and Home & Away while learning the ropes on a series of small homegrown films like Newcastle and September, will play Riley, a newborn vampire who is instrumental in an evil plot to kill mopey heroine, Bella (Kristen Stewart).

But the main thrust of the third movie to be based on one of Stephenie Meyer’s novels will be the choice that Bella must make between her vampire lover, Edward (Robert PaaaaaaaaiiiiiiEEEEEEEttinson) and the werewolf, JacAbs (Taylor Lautner). So it’s a choice between a guy almost entirely covered in hair, or a werewolf.

Diddy David Slade is directing the movie, which starts shooting next month, thanks to Summit’s determination to get the movies into cinemas while the Twilight iron is still hot.

Aside from the press release, Summit also made a special announcement of the exclusive new look at “New Moon” through “Bandslam” latest TV spot entitled “Dreams”.

“Bandslam” is a musical-romantic comedy film that centers around a group of very different teenagers who are brought together by their shared love of music. Previously titled “Will and Rock On”, the Todd Graff’s film stars Gaelan Connell, Alyson Michalka, Vanessa Hudgens and Lisa Kudrow. Summit will distribute it in theaters across the U.S. starting August 14.

The Twilight Saga: New Moon – which stars teen-idols Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson – isn’t due in cinemas until November, but that hasn’t stopped the film buzz reaching gigantic proportions! Robert Pattinson has found himself repeatedly mobbed by screaming fans when out in public, something that was completely unfamiliar to him not that long ago. Pattinson originally had a bit-part in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, starring alongside household names – Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson.
