“It’s Complicated” Trailer

“It’s Complicated” is a comedy about love, divorce, and everything in between. It centers on Jane Leisfield, a mother of three grown kids, who owns a thriving Santa Barbara bakery/restaurant and has-after a decade of divorce-an amicable relationship with her ex-husband, attorney Jake Andersen.  But when Jane and Jake find themselves out of town for their son’s college graduation, things start to get complicated. An innocent meal together turns into the unimaginable-an affair. With Jake remarried to the much younger Lake Bell’s Agness, Jane is now, of all things, the other woman.

Caught in the middle of their renewed romance is Adam Faldt, an architect hired to remodel Jane’s kitchen. Healing from a divorce of his own, Adam starts to fall for Jane, but soon realizes he’s become part of a love triangle.

December 25 will be the date when It’s Complicated opens wide in U.S. theaters.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences will have more than one host for the 82nd Annual Academy Awards. The show’s telecast producers Bill Mechanic and Adam Shankman announced the designation of Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin as the co-hosts of the 2010 Oscars.

The hosting job will be Baldwin’s first, but Martin’s third. The latter has had the privileged of being the master of ceremony for the 73rd and 75th Academy Awards shows.

In the press release, Martin who will play Baldwin’s rival for love in the forthcoming comedy “It’s Complicated” said, “I am happy to co-host the Oscars with my enemy Alec Baldwin”. Baldwin chimed in, “I don’t play the banjo but I’m thrilled to be hosting the Oscars – it’s the opportunity of a lifetime”.

The 82nd Academy Awards will be held on Sunday, March 7, 2010. Its gala ceremony is set to be aired live by ABC Television Network with Bill Mechanic and Adam Shankman serving as producers.

There’s smart timing for releasing a new trailer, and then there’s just plain kismet. Universal’s decision to launch the trailer for the new Nancy Meyers comedy It’s Complicated comes on the eve of the release of Julia & Julia, a.k.a. America’s latest opportunity to fall in love with Meryl Streep.

It seems that this year Christmas day (decaembar 25), will be very complicated!
