Set around the most joyous day of the year, movie revolves around Ebenezer Scrooge. The animation feature comes from Academy Award-winning filmmaker Robert Zemeckis. Jim Carrey takes a multitude of roles from the main character Scrooge to the ghosts haunting Scrooge. Gary Oldman, Bob Hoskins, Colin Firth and Robin Wright Penn also lend their voices.

Two of the clips, “Three Spirits” and “I’m Still Here”, come out courtesy of IGN, another one titled “Fezziwigs” is brought forth by MovieWeb, and the last one is debuted via Coming Soon (CS).

A Christmas Carol will be released in Disney Digital 3-D and IMAX 3-D on November 6.

In the new version of the classic tale, Ebenezer Scrooge begins the Christmas holiday with his usual miserly contempt, until the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come take him on an eye-opening journey.  Jim Carrey is the real star of the film, stepping into the roles of Scrooge and the three ghosts.

This new trailer contains new action-packed footage we haven’t previously seen, and it promises quite a fun ride in 3D.

Charles Dickens’ timeless tale of an old miser who must face Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Yet-to-Come, as they help to bring kindness to his otherwise cold heart. The Ghosts remind him of the man he used to be, the hard truth of what the world is today, and what will happen if he does not strive to be a better man. Set around Christmas, the most joyous day of the year, Scrooge realizes the sharp contrast of his own personality.

Jim Carrey plays four separate roles in this updated version of A Christmas Carol. Carrey portrays Scrooge, as well as the three ghosts (Past, Present, and Yet-to-Come). His dynamic character roles keep the four characters as diverse as being played by four actors.
