You’ve seen part of it in the trailer, Cage threatens an old woman by cutting off another woman’s air supply and demanding that she rat out her own grandson.

In Werner Herzog’s new film,  Cage plays a rogue detective who is as devoted to his job as he is at scoring drugs — while playing fast and loose with the law.  He wields his badge as often as he wields his gun in order to get his way.  In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina he becomes a high-functioning addict who is a deeply intuitive, fearless detective reigning over the beautiful ruins of New Orleans with authority and abandon.

“Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans” Red Band Trailer

Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans stars Nicolas Cage, Eva Mendes, Val Kilmer, Fairuza Balk, Jennifer Coolidge, Vondie Curtis Hall, Shawn Hatosy, Denzel Whitaker, Xzibit, Katie Chonacas, Brad Dourif and will be released nationwide on November 20, 17 years to the day after the original Abel Ferrara film debuted.

The theatrical release of “A Perfect Getaway” is just comming, and Universal Pictures has come out with more sneak peeks to the upcoming thriller through four new clips. Three of the freshly-released clips have been put out via the film’s official site, while the other one is unraveled at MySpace.

Written and directed by David Twohy (Pitch Black, The Chronicles of Riddick) , the thriller stars Milla Jovovich (Resident Evil, Ultraviolet, The Fifth Element),Timothy Olyphant (Hitman, High Life), Steve Zahn, Kiele Sanchez, Chris Hemsworth and Katie Chonacas.

Synopsis: Cliff and Cydney (Steve Zahn and Milla Jovovich) are an adventurous young couple celebrating their honeymoon by backpacking to one of the most beautiful, and remote, beaches in Hawaii. Hiking the wild, secluded trails, they believe theyve found paradise. But when the pair comes across a group of frightened hikers discussing the horrifying murder of another newlywed couple on the islands, they begin to question whether they should turn back.

Unsure whether to stay or flee, Cliff and Cydney join up with two other couples, and things begin to go terrifyingly wrong. Far from civilization or rescue, everyone begins to look like a threat and nobody knows whom to trust. Paradise becomes hell on earth as a brutal battle for survival begins

The first clip gives out the scene in which young couple, Milla Jovovich’s Cydney and Steve Zahn’s Cliff, agrees to take along a hitchhiker couple but gets a surprising response.

The second clip focuses on the time Cydney almost plunges to the gorge below when her attempt to cross a narrow ledge is disturbed by a passing helicopter.

The third clip features the scene in which Cydney and Cliff argue about which option they should take to avoid being killed by the potential murderers who tag along in their trip.

The last one, in the meantime, shows an intense snippet of Cliff and Nick facing one another in the woods and discussing whether or not Cliff thinks of Nick as the mysterious couples killer.

Universal eyes to distribute it across the U.S. August 7.
