“Sin City 2″ Into Production in 2010
It has been long rumored that “Sin City 2″ will kick off its production in 2010, and producer Stephen L’Heureux of Solipsist Films has recently confirmed the swirling speculation.
Unlike the first Sin City, which has used the graphic novel as a preexisting script and storyboard, the sequel will be based on an original story signed by Frank Miller who, as in the previous work, will direct the film with Robert Rodriguez.
Some of the original cast who will reprise their roles include Clive Owen, Rosario Dawson, Jessica Alba, Brittany Murphy, Mickey Rourke and Michael Clarke Duncan. The release date is also still to be determined.
