In case you didn’t know, our beloved, hunky, British heartthrob Jason Statham was modeling for French Connection before Hollywood snatched him up! And did you know that Jason earned his six-pack back in the day when he was diving for the British National Diving Team. As a matter of fact he achieved 12th place e World status in 1992. So first he dove, then he modeled, and oh yes, he also dabbled a little in black market sales and then much to our delight he stepped onto the big screen.
Thanks to French Connection, one of the key investors of his first film, who hooked him up with Guy Ritchie,’Lock, Stock and Smoking Barrels‘ Jason won the part of Bacon in 1996 and the rest is history as they say. Guy Ritchie presented Jason with the task of impersonating a low-life street vendor, assigned to buy some fake bling bling. Obviously he passed the audition with flying colors and thus went on to star in Ritchie’s, ‘Snatch‘ alongside some big names like Pitt, Farina and Del Toro. Since then Jason’s been on one wild ride appearing in ‘Turn It Up‘, ‘Ghosts of Mars‘ in 2001, a sci-fi flick, Jet Li’s, ‘The One‘in 2001 and ‘The Transporter‘ in 2002, where he landed the leading role. In addition, Jason executed a great number of stunts, thanks to his expertise in the martial arts.
So what can we look forward to from our fave, mans’ man, ball busting, movie hero as far as up-coming, anticipated movies of 2013?

It’s not long however before he drops his mask in order to find the killer of his girlfriend.
In ‘Parker,’ also slated for sometime in 2013, Jason will play the leading role of family man and DEA agent determined to live a relaxing life in a small unassuming neighborhood and town.
