It seems like Joseph Gordon-Levitt is the new Gangster Alberto Falcone in The Dark Knight Rises. CBM has reported this from an anonymous source.

Alberto Falcone is the son of crime boss Carmine Falcone, played by Tom Wilkinson in Batman Begins. Falcone also has ties to Selena Kyle aka Catwoman and has played key roles in several of the Batman mini-series comics.

Paramount Pictures has released three more photos from Marvel Studios’ Iron Man 2 and more footage from superhero movie, this time by premiering the IMAX experience trailer.

Though it mostly contains scenes included in the previously released movie clips, fresh footage still can be found in the middle toward the end of this IMAX trailer.

Paramount also debuted three new images from the Iron Man sequel. Beside featuring the already seen Iron Man and Ivan Vanko/Whiplash, one of the photos also gives a look at director Jon Favreau who takes a cameo role as Hogan, Tony Stark’s assistant.

Robert Downey Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow reprise their roles as Tony and Pepper, while Don Cheadle is tapped to replace Terrence Howard as James. New characters Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow and Ivan Vanko/Whiplash are portrayed by Scarlett Johansson and Mickey Rourke respectively.

Directed by Jon Favreau Iron Man 2 will be released in theaters nationwide on May 7.

Iron Man 2 IMAX Trailer

Lionsgate Films provide us with another  sneak peek to Kick-Ass. The fresh red band clip sees Mark Strong’s Frank D’Amico and other two guys who watch Nicolas Cage’s Big Daddy embarking on a solo action to fight a number of badass.

Adapted from a comic book series by Mark Millar and John Romita Jr., Kick-Ass follows the story of average teenager Dave Lizewski who decides to take his comic-book obsession as inspiration to become a real-life superhero.

The titular character is played by Aaron Johnson, while 11-year-old sword-wielding dynamo Hit Girl is portrayed by Chloe Moretz. Christopher Mintz-Plasse is additionally cast as Red Mist. Produced by Matthew Vaughn and Brad Pitt, Kic-Ass has been premiered in London, U.K. on March 22. and come in U.S. theaters on April, 16.

Milla Jovovich returns as Alice in Resident Evil: Afterlife which is the latest installment in the franchise. This version also stars Wentworth Miller, Ali Larter, Kacey Barnfield and Kim Coates.

Three of the images capture Milla Jovovich’s Alice pointing her gun. One of them features her with Ali Larter’s Claire in the pouring rain. Another picture sees a bloody man whose face hidden under what looks like a sack, and last still offers a glimpse at evil Albert Wesker who is played by Shawn Roberts.

Synopsis: In a world ravaged by a virus infection, turning its victims into the Undead, Alice continues on her journey to find survivors and lead them to safety. Her deadly battle with the Umbrella Corporation reaches new heights, but Alice gets some unexpected help from an old friend. A new lead that promises a safe haven from the Undead leads them to Los Angeles, but when they arrive the city is overrun by thousands of Undead and Alice and her comrades are about to step into a deadly trap.

After its original release date of September 24 was pushed back to January 14, 2011, Resident Evil 4 has been given new 2010 slot. The Paul W.S. Anderson-directed flick is now slated to arrive in U.S. theaters on September 10.

The second trailer for Salt, the thriller starring Angelina Jolie, has been released.

The movie, directed by Phillip Noyce from script by Kurt Wimmer and Brian Helgeland,  co-stars Liev Schreiber as Winter, her ally and supervisor in the CIA’s Russia office, and Chiwetel Ejiofor as Peabody, a counterintelligence officer who tries to take her down.

Evelyn Salt (Angelina Jolie) is a CIA officer who swore an oath to duty, honor, and country. But, when a Russian captive accuses her of being a Russian sleeper spy who is on a mission to kill the president in Manhattan, she is forced to go on the run. Being hunted down by her colleagues, she must use all of her covert operative skills and experience to elude capture and protect her husband or the world’s most powerful forces will erase any trace of her existence.

Columbia Pictures will release Salt on July 23.

Although an early promo reel has been floating around online since last year, we hadn’t seen an official trailer for Sylvester Stallone’s, written and directed, The Expendables until today. Lionsgate has finally debuted the official trailer, showing exactly what The Expendables has promised: a bunch of action stars doing what they do best. There’s even a very special scene featuring Sly, Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger, three of the genre’s greatest together onscreen for the very first time.

The Expendables is a hard-hitting action/thriller about a group of mercenaries hired to infiltrate a South American country and overthrow its ruthless dictator.
