New Iron Man 2 TV Spot Debuted at Kids’ Choice Awards

A new “Iron Man 2″ trailer debuted during this weekend’s Kids Choice Awards, and while it offers much of the same footage we’ve seen previously, there are some new elements fans should be excited about. During the event, a TV spot that contains a couple of new footage was played. Tony Spark is seen demonstrating his powerful new weapon with Natasha Romanoff’s assistance. There’s also a scene of Rhodey trying out his War Machine suit.

The world is aware that billionaire inventor Tony Stark is the armored Super Hero Iron Man.  Under pressure from the government, the press and the public to share his technology with the military, Tony is unwilling to divulge the secrets behind the Iron Man armor because he fears the information will slip into the wrong hands. With Pepper Potts  and James Rhodes at his side, Tony forges new alliances and confronts powerful new forces.

The second installment sees Robert Downey Jr. return as Tony Stark and this time, he’s joined by a supporting cast which includes Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Jon Favreau, Mickey Rourke, Sam Rockwell, Samuel L. Jackson, Scarlett Johansson, Garry Shandling and John Slattery.

Iron Man 2 hits the theaters in U.S. on May 7.
