Paul Greengrass and Matt Damon Teamed up Again in “Green Zone” Movie

After delaying the release for a few months, Universal has finally debuted the first official trailer for “Green Zone”, directed by Paul Greengrass and starring Matt Damon, Jason Isaacs, Greg Kinnear, Brendan Gleeson and Amy Ryan.

The film is set in the early days of the Iraq War, with Damon leading a team of Army inspectors into the barren deserts to search for stockpiled weapons of mass destruction.

The movie is inspired by the book Imperial Life in the Emerald City: Inside Iraq’s Green Zone by Rajiv Chandrasekaran, a non-fiction look at the American attempt to set up a transitional government in Iraq.
