Harry Brown is a former British soldier who decides to take matters into his own hands when his best friend is murdered. And that’s probably all you really need to know! It seems to be a return to some of the gritty films that he starred in back in the ’70s, in particular the original Get Carter.

There is absolutely nothing left to say about the career of Michael Caine. Just sit back and watch the guy act. He’s not only among the best actors in the history of film, he’s also one of the most versatile.

The film made its debut at the Toronto Film Festival, but doesn’t have a U.S. release date at the moment. Lionsgate is releasing “Harry Brown” in UK cinemas on November 13.
