In an interview with Black Film to promote “Surrogates”, newly-appointed cast member Boris Kodjoe revealed that Ali Larter and Wentworth Miller have been added to the cast ensemble.

“It’s gonna be Milla Jovovich, Ali Larter, I’m the new one, and Wentworth Miller is also in the movie. He’s the lead in ‘Prison Break’.” While Larter is expected to reprise her “Resident Evil: Extinction” role as Claire Redfield, he said Miller will be “playing a guy that we actually locked up when we took over the jail because we weren’t sure if he was one of them or not. He comes into play as we try to find a way to get out with our survivors.”

Set for August 27, 2010 U.S. release, “Resident Evil: Afterlife” continues Alice’s battle with the diabolical Umbrella Corp as she races to expose a virus that is threatening mankind with extinction before a new race of clones called the Undead finishes the job.
