Six New Exclusive Images & Extended “Astro Boy” Trailer

About month away from the theatrical release of “Astro Boy” in October, Summit Entertainment unravels six new still an extended clip for the CG-animated film.

The first image is a scene with Astro Boy versus Battlebot Samaurai. The second is known as the Gladiator sequence. The third image is of Cora, voiced by Kristen Bell, a smart resourceful 17-year-old girl who is a tough but caring den mother to the gang of children on the surface. The fourth image is of Astro Boy lifting up the city. The fifth image is of Zog, voiced by Samuel L. Jackson, who Astro Boy resurrects and gains a powerful ally who is bigger and stronger than any other robot on the surface. And the last image is of Astro Boy firing his arm cannons.

The film is an adaptation of Osamu Tezuka’s classic manga. It comes from David Bowers. Penned by Timothy Harris, it features the voice of Freddie Highmore as the titular character Astro Boy, Nicolas Cage as Dr. Tenma, Donald Sutherland as President Stone and Kristen Bell as Cora among many others.
