Japanese “2012″ Trailer and Fresh New Poster
“2012″ is directed and co-written by German filmmaker Roland Emmerich. Harald Kloser worked with Emmerich on the script.
In “2012,” a large group of people must deal with natural disasters such as volcanic eruptions, typhoons and glaciers. The idea stems from the fact that the Mayan calendar ends in 2012, which could mean the end of the world.
The apocalyptic end-of-the-world thriller “2012? which stars John Cusack, Amanda Peet, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Danny Glover, Thandie Newton, Oliver Platt, Thomas McCarthy, Woody Harrelson and Chin Han is scheduled to be released on November 13th, 2009.
The trio of banners, coming soon to a cinema near you, show various landmarks of the world being utterly pummelled by Mother Nature.
In the first, the iconic Christ The Redeemer statue, which towers above Rio de Janeiro, is in the middle of collapse.
The second is a snapshot of the by-now infamous sequence shown in the movie’s trailer, where the supercarrier, the USS John F. Kennedy, is about to demolish the White House in Washington D.C.
And the third shot is bad news for anybody living in LA – because it shows the city on the verge of total destruction.
