Christopher Nolan’s “Inception” Trailer

Here’s the official version of the first teaser trailer for Christopher Nolan’s upcomingthriller Inception.

It sure doesn’t tell us much– we’ve known all along that it would be a thriller set inside the architecture of the mind, and the teaser sticks to that with the tagline “Your mind is the scene of the crime.” But given that it’s a teaser, and tosses in some intriguing visuals of Leonardo Dicaprio on some grim city streets, it sells the movie all the same.

Leonardo DiCaprio stars as a CEO-type who becomes involved in a blackmailing scandal. Marion Cotillard is playing DiCaprio’s wife, while Ellen Page is playing a grad student and DiCaprio’s sidekick. Joseph Gordon-Levitt will play an associate of DiCaprio’s character. The anticipated film also stars Cillian Murphy, Ken Watanabe, Tom Hardy and Michael Caine.

Inception is scheduled to hit theaters on July 16th 2010.
