Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger in “The Expendables”

An unholy action trio is assembling on the set of The Expendables. Sylvester Stallone, who wrote and directed the film, will soon be joined by none other than Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bruce Willis for “a very special scene”.

The Expendables already has more than its fair share of action stars, with the likes of Jet Li, Mickey Rourke and Jason Statham playing a group of mercenaries that Stallone leads to overthrow a dictator and his army. But the inclusion of cameos by Schwarzenegger and Willis is a moment that 80s action fans have been secretly dreaming of for years.

According to Willis, the scene will feature all three of them together, but no other details were available.  “I don’t know anything about [my character] yet, haven’t seen any pages yet,” explained Willis.

The Expendables is expected out in theaters in April 2010
