Leaked Kick-Ass Trailer and Footage from Comic-Con

There was lots of “Kick-Ass” footage shown at Comic-Con, but the studios hardly ever release the content online. We now have the incredibly violent trailer for the film, in bootleg format.

If you haven’t heard of Kick-Ass, it is based on a comic book where a group of teens without super powers take it upon themselves to become superheros.  And unlike most superhero films, it is laced with over-the-top violence. Kick-Ass is directed by Matthew Vaughn and stars Nicolas Cage, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Mark Strong, Aaron Johnson and Chloe Moretz.

The story centers on a high school dweeb named Dave Lizewski who decides to become a superhero even though he has no athletic ability or coordination. Things change when he eventually runs into real bad guys with real weapons. Nicolas Cage will play a former cop who wants to bring down a druglord and has trained his daughter to be a lethal weapon.

Release date for the movie is yet to be set.
