“Shutter Island” – New Poster

Here is a brend new poster for Martin Scorsese’s upcoming thriller “Shutter Island” starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Mark Ruffalo, Ben Kingsley, Emily Mortimer, Michelle Williams, Max von Sydow, and Jackie Earle Haley.

Set in 1954, Shutter Island follows U.S. Marshal Teddy Daniels as he investigates the disappearance of a murderess who escaped from a hospital for the criminally insane and is presumed to be hiding on the remote Shutter Island.

It looks like Scorsese has finally decided to take on Hitchcock head-on, and DiCaprio may finally get that Oscar he’s been waiting for. Shutter Island is the first movie we’ve seen anything from that is a big Oscar contender this year.

“Shutter Island” is scheduled to hit theaters on October 2nd.
